California Wildlife Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife. Since 1998 CWC has responded to over 10,000 wildlife emergencies in Los Angeles County for a variety of species: from raptors and songbirds to pelicans, sea lions, coyotes, deers.Species:
Birds, native mammals (squirrels, opossum, coyotes,deer).Marine mammals are also rescued from Malibu’s coastlineHabitat:

Ability to work as part of a team, experience with animal care a plus.Work:
Volunteers will go through mandatory training classes, including: basic training, dispatch, baby bird, squirrel and Marine Mammal Rescue training. Volunteers prepare food, feed animals, clean enclosures, wash dishes etc.Language(s):
