In a rustic rural setting just 4 km from beautiful Udaipur, Animal Aid's hospital is a haven of love and treatment for about 100 animals daily. Species range from dogs to donkeys, birds to bullocks. We believe that tender care can make the difference between life and death; that individual attention is as important as antibiotics.Species:

Qualifications:
loving heart, willingness to learn, sympathy with "low tech" environment, able to give encouragement to suffering animals, sometimes clean, walk dogs, etc.Work:
clean puppy kennels, help doctors dress wounds, walk dogs, manage drips, stimulate bored animals, assist in surgery prep if you're interested, help calm nervous animals, give individual attn to special casesLanguage(s):

no accommodation but many hotels 4 km distant at prices ranging from US $3 on up. Udaipur has both basic and luxury hotels.Cost:
Volunteers must provide own transportation from to the hospital. Sometimes volunteers ride bikes. 4 km from hotel area costs US $1.50 ea way (auto rickshaw)Application:
